Access keys in different browsers
On PCs (Windows & Linux)
- Internet Explorer 5, 6 & 7 - Hold down the ALT key, press down the number of the access key, release both keys then press ENTER
- Internet Explorer 4 - Hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key.
- Internet Explorer 1, 2 & 3 - Access keys are not supported.
- Firefox 2 & 3 - Hold down the SHIFT as well as the ALT key and press the number of the access key.
- Firefox 1 - Hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key.
- Mozilla - Hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key.
- Opera 7+ - Hold down the SHIFT key and press ESCAPE, release both keys, then press the number of the access key.
- Netscape 6, 7, 8 & 9 - Hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key.
On Macs
- Safari - Hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key.
- Omniweb - Hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key.
- Firefox 2 & 3 - Hold down the SHIFT as well as the CTRL key and press the number of the access key.
- Firefox 1 - Hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key.
- Mozilla - Hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key.
